Ahead of National Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) Day, health chiefs in the Black Country are raising awareness of the important role of cancer nurses.

A national test of the new Emergency Alerts service will take place at 3pm on Sunday 23 April. The system will enable people to be contacted via their mobile phone when lives are in danger.

Patients in the Black Country are being reminded that the NHS will still be available for urgent and emergency care this week, but are being asked to use services wisely.

More than 100 colleagues from across the Black Country Integrated Care System (ICS) attended an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) celebration event in March, to highlight the breadth of equalities work taking place across the Black Country
