The new Integrated Care System (ICS) is developing its workforce Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Strategy.

The strategy will identify the system-wide EDI priorities to support the development of a workforce that is representative of the communities served across the system and at Board level, improve outcomes for staff from protected groups and reduce health inequalities within the workforce.

The development of this strategy is underpinned by a two phase engagement programme to ensure that the views and experiences of staff within the system are properly heard and considered in the design.

The first phase engagement took place between February and March 2022 and from the feedback we have taken on board your views, identified key themes and created specific EDI objectives as part of the development of this initial draft. We would now like to get your views on the first draft of the EDI strategy.

You can access the full draft strategy, and/or the summary draft strategy.

Once you have reviewed the draft strategy, please complete this survey. The survey will take 15 minutes to complete, and it runs form mid-July until Wednesday 24 August 2022. Your feedback will be used to produce the final Black Country ICS Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
