Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall and Wolverhampton make up the Black Country footprint. Each place has a ‘Place Based Partnership’, which are collaborative arrangements formed by the organisations responsible for arranging and delivering health and care services in a locality or community.
Place based partnerships will lead the detailed design and delivery of integrated services across the four places and their neighbourhoods. The partnerships will involve the NHS, local councils, community and voluntary organisations, local residents, people who use services, their carers and representatives and other community partners with a role in supporting the health and wellbeing of the population.
Locally they play an important role in the coordination and improvement of service planning and delivery and in reflecting and representing local communities.
