We have 13 GP surgeries across the Black Country and Birmingham that total a patient base of upwards of 65,000. Majority of our sites are in Wolverhampton South East Primary Care Network, working closely with other PCN’s and also having a dedicated Access Hub and vaccination/Nursing site. We also have a dedicated Diabetes and Asthma Service as well as fully supportive back office teams and a developing PCN workforce

3 x Medical Secretaries – Minimum 5 years Primary Care experience

Job Summary:

To be responsible for the provision of an efficient, comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to the Practice

Job Responsibilities:

·       Maintain an accurate referrals database

·       Scanning of patient-related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patients' healthcare records

·       Input data into the patients’ healthcare records as necessary

·       Process referrals using the electronic referral system (ERS)

·       Process requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance/solicitors letters, and DVLA forms

·       Record the minutes of meetings

·       Manage all administrative queries as necessary

·       Carry out system searches as requested

Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as requested
