Come and join a large well-respected teaching and training practice working across two sites, one suburban and one rural with a total of 20,000 patients. We are on the borders of South Staffordshire with easy access to both countryside and also within commuting distance of Birmingham. Due to an increase in list size, we are looking for an extra doctor.
Currently we have a great, committed team of 8 partners and 7 salaried doctors, supported by 3 advanced nurse practitioners, 6 practice nurses, 3 urgent care practitioners and 3 health care assistants. We also have in house pharmacists and first contact physiotherapists and mental health workers.
As well as the chance to experience the huge variety of general practice there are many opportunities to explore other professional interests: our current team includes the PCN chair, a GPSI in dermatology and GP trainers as part of the Black Country VTS. In addition, we are a teaching practice for the University of Birmingham. We are involved in research and we have embraced new technologies such as on line consulting and triage whilst maintaining traditional consulting.
