Practice Nurse

Salary : Negotiable
Hours of work: 37.5 per week permanent post
Main duties: The Practice Nurse will be involved in several clinical areas such as:-
- Infection prevention and control
- Health promotion
- Chronic disease management (diabetes in particular)
- Vaccination
- Smear clinics
- Immunisations
as well as supporting the practice management team in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policies and procedures.
Alongside this, you will exercise your clinical skills and continue to deliver primary care services in the practice in the form of chronic disease clinics.
