Topics covered: Pharmacy & Genomics: what next?

Genomics, the science of understanding our DNA, can help us to personalise treatment for patients. From precise diagnoses and personalised cancer treatments, to tailoring medicine doses and avoiding adverse drug reactions, genomics has the potential to reach all specialities. In this session, you will learn about some basics of genomics, then look at current applications and commissioned genetic tests in the NHS as well as what is coming next, as well as where to find out more.
