This 3-hour training course will be delivered via MS Teams, by a Clinical Nurse Educator with first hand Clinical Knowledge drawing on their own experience and is suitable for all Healthcare Professionals, public health practitioners, and any individuals involved in administering, promoting, or managing flu immunisation programmes.

Course Outcomes: Understanding of flu policies, the immune response to vaccines, rationale behind flu vaccination. The various types of flu vaccines, their composition, indications, and contraindications. Communication strategies. Legal considerations, storage and handling of flu vaccines, documentation, record keeping and reporting. Correct administration techniques and the latest developments.
