An update session on Children and Young Peoples ADHD pathways in Wolverhampton is being held on 4th September 2024 from 13pm – 14pm for all professionals involved in the referral process.
Dr Sawal, a Consultant Paediatrician, will be facilitating the event and will be discussing the current ADHD referral and assessment process, including referral criteria for children with Neurodevelopment problems (ADHD).
The session aims to cover:
- What information makes a useful referral which will aid with the diagnostic pathway.
- Responsibilities around private diagnosis.
- Monitoring and prescribing.
- Transitions from children’s services to adults.
