11am–3pm at Wednesbury Library.
This inclusive open day is co-produced by and for neurodivergent adults. It features live performances, guest speakers—including Alex Manners—opera workshops with the Birmingham Opera Company, a Sound bath Soundscape, information and advice stalls (including key services from the local authority and the NHS), and a sensory-friendly chill-out space!
One of the highlights of the day will be our Sons of Rest Community Band; A powerful collaboration between neurodivergent and neurotypical participants from our Platform Project. Together, they’ve written and arranged an original set of songs that reflect real lives, struggles, and the often-unheard challenges faced by marginalised voices in our community.
