The Black Country Training Hub have commissioned Optum to deliver a series of five interactive workshops to develop Workforce Planning skills across PCNs.

The training is aimed at those who are leading workforce planning initiatives within PCNs. This may be Clinical Directors, PCN Managers, Digital and Transformation Managers and other colleagues. We recommend that 1-3 people per PCN attend each topic.

PCN Workforce Training: Working Differently

•Understanding change as a vector of success

•Understanding drivers of change that impact on workforce planning

•Implementing changes as part of workforce planning and development

•Application to real life - Embedding new roles in primary care – workforce cultures and behaviours

There are four dates per topic, and they have been designed to be delivered at Place level to allow tailoring to individual Place requirements and to incorporate local insights. However, if you can’t attend the session for your Place, you are welcome to switch to another date!

All sessions are 2.5 hours and will be delivered via MS Teams.
