The Black Country Training Hub have commissioned Optum to deliver a series of five interactive workshops to develop Workforce Planning skills across PCNs.
The training is aimed at those who are leading workforce planning initiatives within PCNs. This may be Clinical Directors, PCN Managers, Digital and Transformation Managers and other colleagues. We recommend that 1-3 people per PCN attend each topic.
PCN Workforce Training: Quality Improvement
•The basic principles and cycle of quality improvement
•Understand the importance of quality improvement in workforce planning and development
•Understand the importance of collaboration and teamwork
•Application to real life – evaluate the effectiveness of the workforce planning cycle & sustainability
There are four dates per topic, and they have been designed to be delivered at Place level to allow tailoring to individual Place requirements and to incorporate local insights. However, if you can’t attend the session for your Place, you are welcome to switch to another date!
All sessions are 2.5 hours and will be delivered via MS Teams.
