As many if you will be aware, the Training Hub has undertaken a series of six engagement events in February and March to listen to the workforce and understand your education and training priorities. We have received a wealth of feedback about our existing offers and what else is required to enable staff to thrive. We are now using all this information to shape our programme for 2024/25 and beyond.

There is currently uncertainty around the level of funding available nationally for primary care workforce support and retention from April onwards. Thank you for your patience while we await further details. Once the funding position is confirmed, the Hub is committed to supporting all staff in primary care and our new offers will be shared with you in due course.

In the meantime, many of our existing schemes have now come to an end, and this includes the Training Hub ambassador, mentor, and facilitator roles. We would like to thank all our extended team members for their expertise, insights, and dedication to supporting all professions in primary care.

The Training Hub is here to support you, and if you have any questions, please contact us at primarycare.blackcountry@nhs.net. Thank you.
